What We’re Looking For

Submit your best images in one of these categories:

Portrait — Capture emotion and humanity (expressions, daily life moments)

Street Photography — Showcase authentic urban life (street scenes, spontaneous interactions)

Travel — Highlight the vibrancy of African cities (modern architecture, cityscapes)

Culture & Traditions — Celebrate living heritage (festivals, crafts, dance)

Food Photography — Spotlight Africa’s rich cuisine (traditional dishes, markets)

Fashion — Illustrate creativity and modern style (fashion trends, lifestyle)

How to Participate

Create a contributor account on Makifaa

/Step 2

Upload your images (minimum 3,000×2,000 px, JPG/PNG)

/Step 3

Add a clear title, description, and relevant keywords

/Step 4

Wait for approval (typically within 48 hours)

Launch Bonus: $35 for the first 10 contributors with 100 approved images

Images Weekly Challenge: $50 to the contributor with the most approved images each week
